⚙️ Requirements

One of: Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex (CLI) installed and in use

macOS 11+ or Windows 10+

No internet connection required — everything runs locally

macOS users:

• If you see an "unidentified developer" warning, either install via the itch.io app or run this in Terminal:

  xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Tokchi.app

• If IDE file detection stops working after an update, re-sign the app and re-add it to Accessibility:

  sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Tokchi.app

  Then: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → add Tokchi

🐾 How It Works Tokchi reads your AI CLI's local log files and converts token consumption into real-time activity. When your AI is working hard, your pet eats. When you step away, it gets hungry. Fall asleep at the keyboard long enough and your pet dozes off too.
